The 1941 Cadillacs got a new look, a flatter eggcrate grille with a central bulge carried down from the hood. Taillights were also more prominent, and a concealed gas filler. For 1942 the lineup was mostly the same, the shape even more streamlined, the eggcrate was larger in the grille, the fenders were shaped more like a bullet front and rear extending well into the doors.
