PS5 Infobox

This is Ja. wiki; however, my Japanese is bad (apologies).

You look like someone who don't understand anything, just reverted something out of appearance.

CUs number shall be used instead Tflops in the infobox for the following reasons:

1.) The CU number IS cited in the same reference (only in the video, not in the blog post text).

Cerny: "We’ve built a GPU with 36 CUs" (from the official "The Road to PS5" video linked from the same blog post reference).

2.) CU has the additional benefit of not being easily misused than Tflops.

Both Tflops and CUs are non-meaningful for "direct comparison" across micro-architecture generations and definitely not across different vendors. However, if CUs is used, it's less likely to get misused by users.

RTX 3080: 25.1 Tflops (Single)

RX 6800 XT: 16.8 8 Tflops (Single)

The RTX 3080 has nearly 1.5x Tflops than RX 6800 XT; yet, the two cards performed more or less the same.

If CUs is used instead of Tflops, then it's less likely to get misused for comparison when they're not supposed to (The CU term is unique to Radeon).

3.) CU number is easier to use. CUs is to GPUs, as cores is to CPUs. Both Cerny and AMD use CUs as the main method of describing performance, as demonstrated in the following examples:

I.) Mark Cerny, the chief architect of PS5, uses CUs and frequency to reference GPU performance, not Tflops.

Cerny: "Mind you, RDNA 2 CUs are large, each has 62% more transistors than the CUs that we were using on PlayStation 4. So if we compare transistor counts, 36 RDNA 2 CUs, equates to roughly 58 PS4 CUs. It is a fairly sizeable GPU."

Cerny: "...35 CUs at 2.23GHz is 10.3 teraflops and we expect the GPU to spend most of its time at, or close to, that frequency and performance.”" (He reference GPU performance in terms of X CUs operating @ Y frequency, then derive the Tflops from there)

III.) AMD itself uses CUs as the primary metric when introducing a new tier of graphics card in their presentation slides. There is no mention of Tflops here.

4.) 3 other game console Wiki articles already use CUs (and reference only CUs) in the infobox.

I.) The English version of "PlayStation 5" wiki article uses CU number in the infobox.

2021年ウィキメディア財団選挙が8月に始まります。今年の理事会選挙は、2021年8月4日から17日まで実施されます。ウィキペディア日本語版の編集者を含むウィキメディア・コミュニティのメンバーは、3年の任期で4人の新しい理事を選出する機会があります。理事会選挙の開始に先立ち選挙運動期間が設けられており、この期間中にコミュニティが候補者と顔を合わせる機会があります。
