ジェームズ・バーナード（James Bernard、1729年 12月8日 - 1790年 7月7日）^[1]は、アイルランド王国の政治家でバンドン伯爵の先祖。

アイルランド議会庶民院議員で法務次官を務めたフランシス・バーナードの孫である^[2]。1781年から1790年に亡くなるまで、庶民院のコーク県代表を務めた^[1]。

ウォーターフォード州バリーナトリー（Ballynatray）のパーシー·スミス卿の息子で役人のパーシー・スミスの末娘エスター・スミスと結婚した^[3]。アイルランド貴族に上り詰めたフランシスなど、合わせて5人の娘と息子がいた^[2]。
