シャトルワース男爵（英語: Baron Shuttleworth）は、連合王国貴族の男爵位。

教育者ジェイムズ・ケイ＝シャトルワース（英語版）が1849年に叙された準男爵位を前身とし、その息子である自由党の政治家第2代準男爵ユグトリード・ケイ＝シャトルワース（英語版）が1902年7月16日に叙されたのに始まる。2016年現在の当主は第5代シャトルワース男爵チャールズ・ケイ＝シャトルワースである。

教育者ジェイムズ・ケイ＝シャトルワース（英語版）(1804-1872)は、1839年から1849年にかけて枢密院教育委員会（英語版）長官として貧困層への教育の普及に尽力し、その辞職に際しての1849年12月22日に(ガウソープ・ホールの)準男爵(Baronet"of Gawthorpe Hall")に叙された[1][2]。

彼の死後、その長男であるユグトリード・ケイ＝シャトルワース（英語版）（1844年-1939年）が第2代準男爵位を継承。彼は自由党所属の庶民院議員を務め、1886年2月から4月にかけてインド担当省政務次官（英語版）、同年4月から8月にかけてランカスター公領大臣、1892年から1895年にかけて海軍省政務次官兼財務長官（英語版）を務めた。そして1902年7月16日に連合王国貴族爵位ランカスターのパラティン州におけるガウソープのシャトルワース男爵 (Baron Shuttleworth, of Gawthorpe in the County Palatine of Lancaster)に叙され、貴族院議員に列した[2][3]。

彼の長男ローレンス(1887–1917)は父に先立って第一次世界大戦で戦死した[4]。

そのため初代男爵の死後、ローレンスの長男リチャード(1913–1940)が2代男爵位を継承したが、彼は第二次世界大戦のバトル・オブ・ブリテンで戦死した[5]。

2代男爵には子供がなかったのでその弟のロナルド(1917–1942)が3代男爵を継承したが、彼も第二次世界大戦の北アフリカ戦線で戦死した[6]。

3代男爵にも子供はなく、初代男爵の次男エドワード(1890-1917)(第一次世界大戦中に事故死)の長男チャールズ(1917–1975)が4代男爵を継承した。彼も第二次世界大戦に従軍して負傷をした[7]。

4代男爵の死後はその長男のチャールズ(1948-)が5代男爵を継承した。2016年現在の当主も彼である。彼は1998年から2006年までランカスター公領会議の議長を務め[8]、2016年4月23日には女王エリザベス2世よりガーター騎士団ナイトに叙された[9]。

一族の邸宅はランカシャー・パジアム（英語版）・ガウソープ・ホール（英語版）だったが、1970年に売却した。現在の邸宅はランカシャー・レック（英語版）・レック・ホール（英語版）である[2]。
