「空間において、物と生体との間に出来する相互補完的な事態のこと」という最初の定義もあまりよくないように思います。英語版の定義、An Affordance is an action that an individual can potentially perform in their environment. However, the more exact meaning depends on whether the word is used to refer to any such action possibility or only to those which the actor is aware of, both of which are common uses. の方がよいのではないでしょうか。--Bobmarley 2007年7月17日 (火) 15:19 (UTC)

現行の英語版は、定義がより洗練されています: "An affordance is a quality of an object, or an environment, that allows an individual to perform an action." また、本文中に引用されているGibsonの定義もわかりやすいと思います: "all 'action possibilities' latent in the environment, objectively measurable and independent of the individual's ability to recognize them, but always in relation to the actor and therefore dependent on their capabilities." 現行の日本語版では、アフォーダンスの定義として「意味/価値である」と言っていますが、少し言い過ぎのように思いました。いかがでしょうか？--Hideya 2009年1月11日 (日) 13:06 (UTC)
