ページ名の変更について

本文「概要」に記載しましたが、国内での公式な表記は「ハズブロ」となるので、タイトルを「ハズブロ」に変更したいと思いますがいかがでしょうか。--和彦 2006年8月7日 (月) 15:35 (UTC)

昔から玩具業界ではハスブロと表記され続けていたので、その慣例が残ってるんでしょうね。12インチのＧＩジョーとか輸入してる頃からだと思いますが。慣例は慣例で良いんですが、一応百科辞典なので表記に優先順位は付けたいと思います。--和彦 2006年8月8日 (火) 14:42 (UTC)

Yes. 野村トーイ was acquired by Hasbro, and was turned into Hasbro Japan before it was eventually sold to Tomy. But that doesn't always mean 野村トーイ should be redirect to ハズブロ and 野村's history should be discussed in this article. 野村 and Hasbro were unrelated companies before the acquisition, and 野村 may had notable moments and famous products before Hasbro days.

野村トーイ should have its own article in Japanese Wikipedia, and this ハズブロ article needs to expand on the Hasbro's operation in Japan before acquiring 野村. Also, there needs some mentions about Hasbro's relation with Takara; what happened to Takara after Hasbro handled its operation in Japan to Tomy in 1998; international distribution of Sega Toys products by Hasbro; and in the days of post Takara-Tomy merger. (For My Little Pony, I'm aware that it's the only Hasbro product Takara Tomy didn't renew licence. All other Hasbro products are still licenced by Takara Tomy.)
