定義について

「空飛ぶ円盤」の定義として「未確認飛行物体（UFO）を説明する説のひとつ。」とされているが、疑問を感じる。「空飛ぶ円盤」は未確認飛行物体の形態のひとつなのではないか？未確認飛行物体が「地球外生物の乗り物である」とか、「未来人の乗り物」であるというのが、「説明する説」であり、「空飛ぶ円盤」であることは何の説明にもならないとおもうのですが。--125.193.38.79 2009年7月8日 (水) 04:05 (UTC)

ちなみに英語版では未確認飛行物体の形態として定義している。 Flying saucer (also referred to as a flying disc) is the name given to a type of unidentified flying object (UFO) with a disc- or saucer-shaped body, usually described as silver or metallic, occasionally reported as covered with running lights or surrounded with a glowing light, hovering or moving rapidly either alone or in tight formations with other similar craft, and exhibiting high maneuverability. --125.193.38.79 2009年7月8日 (水) 04:10 (UTC)
