ブライアン・マイケル・ベンディスBrian Michael Bendis, 1967年 - )は、アメリカ合衆国コミックブックのライター、アーティストである。 彼はクリエイターが所有する作品と様々なマーベルコミックスの作品の両方で5つのアイズナー賞を獲得している。[1]

生い立ち

ブライアン・マイケル・ベンディスは、1967年8月18日にアメリカ合衆国オハイオ州クリーブランドに生まれ、ユダヤ系アメリカ人の家庭で育った。

経歴

最初期はアーティストとして、漫画作品を含む地元の雑誌や新聞の仕事を始めた。そのあと彼はイラストレーターとしてプレーン・ディーラー英語版で働いていた。 ビル・ジェームズやマーク・ミラーと共に、ベンディスは2000年に『アルティメットマーベル』を立ち上げ、『アルティメットスパイダーマン英語版』の主要ライターになった。2004年に『アベンジャーズフランチャイズを『ニューアベンジャーズ』にリニューアルし、『シークレット・ウォー』、『ハウス・オブ・M』『、シークレット・インベージョン』、『シージ』、『エイジ・オブ・ウルトロン』など数々のマーベル・コミックスのクロスオーバー作品でライターを務めている。 コミックブックのライターの他に、彼はテレビ、ビデオゲーム、映画の分野でも活動している。2013年秋にオレゴン大学で執筆を始めた。彼は時にポートランド州立大学で教鞭を振るっている。 2014年に、ベンディスは、ランダムハウスから出版されたコミックについての書籍『Words for Pictures』を書いた。[2]

2017年11月、彼はマーベルコミックを離れDCコミックに移り、アクションコミックスとスーパーマンの作品に関わった。
