ボビー・ハリス

ボビー・ハリス (Bobby Harris)は、米国のニューヨークを拠点として活動したディープ・ソウル・シンガー。サム・クックのフォロワーの一人として知られる。

来歴

ボビー・ハリスは、「カンサス・シティ」のヒットで知られるR&Bシンガー、ウィルバート・ハリスンの兄弟のひとりである。ウィルバートが軽快なソウルを持ち味としているのに対して、ボビーはディープな歌唱が特徴である。

ボビーは数多くのレーベルを遍歴し、しかも変名で録音されているので録音された音を頼りにディスコグラフィが記録されている。

1966年にバート・バーンズによって設立されたレーベル、シャウトに迎え入れられ、「Mr. Success」を発表する。
