メルヴィン・レフラー
メルヴィン・レフラー （Melvyn P. Leffler, 1945年 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の歴史学者。専門は、アメリカ外交史・冷戦史。ヴァージニア大学歴史学部エドワード・ステティニアス記念講座教授。
コーネル大学を卒業後、1972年オハイオ州立大学で博士号を取得。国防総省長官府出向の外交問題評議会研究員（カーター政権）などを経て現職。
ノーベル研究所研究員、ウッドロー・ウィルソン国際学術センター研究員、ヴァージニア大学教養部長（1997-2001年）、オックスフォード大学客員教授（2002-03年）、アメリカ合衆国平和研究所上席研究員（2004-06年）などを歴任した。
1993年、著書A Preponderance of Powerでコロンビア大学よりバンクロフト賞を受賞した。
