リンダ・ドブソン

リンダ・ドブソン(Linda Dobson)は、アメリカにおけるホームスクーリング運動の草分け的存在。ホームスクーリングの支援団体の創設者の一人。ニューヨーク州のホーム・エデュケーションネットワークの創設者で、その最初の2年間はネットワークのコーディネーターを務める。1999年には、全国区でのホームエデュケーションネットワークを創設。その広報、渉外役を一手に引き受けた。その他、教育関係のコラムニストとして知られる。ホームスクーリングに関する著書が多数。ニューヨーク州サラナクレーク在住。1985年から、自らも3人の子どもをホームスクーリングで育て、ホームスクーリングを行う親子のみならず、従来の学校教育を受ける子どもとその親へのアドバイスを行なっている。
