Growth チームは中規模ウィキペディアで新しい寄稿者の定着に役立つよう、ソフトウェアの改良に取り組んでいます。
変数 Cと D の実装

変数 C と D は両方とも新規参加者のホームページ向けに用意した新しい配列です。 おすすめ編集に取りかかる利用者数の伸びにつながるよう期待しています。 編集初学者に作業をお勧めするページ内の位置を明確に示します。 どちらの設計が優れているかテストする意図があり、ワークフローがそれぞれ変えてあります。 これら変数の実装は2020年10月19日に行いました。新規参加者を半分に分け、どれか片方だけ表示されます。 導入後5週間前後でテスト結果の分析を始めます。 目標はお勧め編集をたくさん完了するのに、どちらの変数の方が役に立ったか考察します。 そして優れた方を見きわめ、それを新規参加者全員に配布する計画です。
構造化したタスク：リンクの追加

ニュースレターの前号で述べたように、当チームでは「構造化したタスク」structured task の第1号、「リンク追加」のタスクに取り組んでいます。 設計案についてコミュニティとの協議を終え、モバイル版の設計について利用者テストを実施しました。 この先の設計コンセプトは、方向性が決まりました。これをコンセプト A と呼びます。 目下、この機能のバックエンドを技術者が構築しています。 次はデスクトップ版の設計について利用者テストに進みます。
コミュニティのニュース
[編集]- 直近で Growth 機能を実装したウィキぺディアはポーランド語版、ポルトガル語版、スウェーデン語版、トルコ語版です。これでこの機能を使えるのは 18 件のウィキになりました。 機能の導入について詳しく知りたい場合はこちらをご参照ください。

This includes transportation improvements such as the Hong Kong MTR Station, Airport Express Railway & Central-Wanchai Bypass, as well as public recreation space such as the Central Harbourfront Event Space, Tamar Park and the Hong Kong Observation Wheel.
