Please stop posting machine translations[編集]

Hello,

I saw the article that you posted on the Japanese Wikipedia. When you created it, did you use machine translation? The quality of machine translations is usually very poor, and machine translations to Japanese are almost never useful. If you post articles with machine-translated Japanese to the Japanese Wikipedia, most of your translations will be deleted. They will still be deleted even if you post them many times. Please stop posting machine translations here.

When translating articles for the Japanese Wikipedia, you must also be careful to obey Wikipedia's content license, the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-SA 3.0). To fulfil this license, you must include the name of the original article and the timestamp of the revision that you are translating from in the edit summary box (the small white box underneath the edit window). If you don't do this, your article will be deleted. But now, I have judged that your edited content is a list of facts, so I have no intention of requesting its deletion this time.

If you continue to post machine translations, you will be blocked from editing. If you want to post in Japanese to the Japanese Wikipedia, please find a native Japanese speaker, or someone with near-native Japanese ability.

Thank you for only using manual translations. -- 有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月25日 (月) 13:04 (UTC)[返信]

@Yushu-kasai i used the links from English Wikipedia. Also i use Google translator sentence by sentence and for orginal content i wrote in my self in English and change to get the optimum Japanese translation.--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月25日 (月) 13:07 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai So can continue with my edits?--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月25日 (月) 13:11 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - On the Japanese Wikipedia, we are prohibited from using machine translation such as Google Translate to make posts. Additionally, when translating from another language into Japanese, you must include a link to the source English Wikipedia page in the edit summary, and clearly state the revision of the source. As I saw, you did not seem to comply with these terms and rules.
If you want to continue, please accept what I said. Thank you. --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月25日 (月) 13:27 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai ok, i am using simple Wikipedia, but to get an acceptable output i change the sentence structure while translating--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月25日 (月) 13:33 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - I'm sorry, but I couldn't understand your point on your reply.
At least as far as I can see, your edited content is still very unnatural and inappropriate for Japanese written in an encyclopedia. For example, in an encyclopedia, you should use "~である", "~した" or so on as sentence endings instead of "~です", "~ます" or so on. --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月25日 (月) 13:43 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai I am sorry, my intention is not spamming. The article is out dated and i like to make it like the version on simple.wikipedia.com. You can also check the hindi, marthi and tamil versions. My intention is to add three sections and a complete filimography list. As you can see the content addition will be short and if you are kind enough you can correct the spelling mistake.--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月25日 (月) 13:54 (UTC)[返信]

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Reply - Of course I understand that you have been editing based on your good intentions. And I appreciate that you are adding content to the article that Japanese-native speakers cannot edit.

Unfortunately, however, your Japanese grammar skills are sometimes having a negative impact on the quality of articles. In this case, I do not think it is appropriate for another editor to correct your mistake. I recommend that you postpone editing JAWP until you have sufficient language proficiency to edit Japanese encyclopedia articles. --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月26日 (火) 10:38 (UTC)[返信]

@Yushu-kasai Thanks for your kind words, I will try to improve.--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月26日 (火) 11:08 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Thanks for the edits. The page was renamed to match with the English wikipedia title. Do I need to follow any procedure to rename the page?--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月26日 (火) 11:55 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - Yes. When renaming a page, we must notify WP:PFR of the proposed renaming of the page pursuant to the JAWP guideline WP:MOVE. At the same time, you need to propose a rename on the talk page. However, this time I will do the necessary procedures for you. Please give me some time to do some research. It takes at least one week to rename an article. --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月26日 (火) 12:03 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Thanks. Also you can check the English talk page why it's renamed.--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月26日 (火) 12:06 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai It's a question about formating. Usually in English wikipedia use the format Ayan. But here it is formated as 『Ayan』. Is this a rule?. Also why translated word is not used like this あやん ?--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月26日 (火) 14:02 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - Japanese orthography does not use italics. Italics are products of Western languages. And, in Japanese, en:katakana is usually used for foreign words, instead of en:hiragana.
Did I answer your question? --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月27日 (水) 13:08 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai partially because i have some doubts.
So instead of using ''text'' here uses 『text』. And translation must be done in katakana like this『[[:en:Ayan (film)|アヤン]]』.Some uses black symbol like this「text」. Why? So in that case i put the wrong spelling for article title. Please consider my suggestions. At present the article title is converted from "Tamannaah" タマナー. But "ah" is silent in this name. So it is pronounced "Tamanna" in every language. So you should convert "Tamanna Bhatia" close to タマナ•バティア. I don't know how "Bh" is correctly written in Japanese
--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月27日 (水) 14:53 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - If the article 'タマンナー' should be renamed, I think the title of the article should be 'タマンナー・バティア'. Japanese article names should conform to how the article subject is called in Japanese-speaking countries. In most Japanese literature, the notation "タマンナー" is used instead of "タマンナ".
Regarding the usage of square brackets in Japanese, we usually use black brackets (「」), but for titles of works, books and so on, we use white brackets (『』). --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月28日 (木) 07:56 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Thanks. What about the translation 『アヤン』, is this acceptable, note the translation is done in katakana ?--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月28日 (木) 08:07 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - Sorry, I did not understand the intent of your question. If you create an article about "Ayan", I think in Japanese the article name should be "アヤン (映画)". --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月28日 (木) 08:13 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai not creating an article, my question is about an english Wikipedia article link in a Japanese Wikipedia article. Instead of using English text, can i use Japanese text Ayan|アヤン
Please view the entire conversation in source view, you will understand--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月28日 (木) 08:19 (UTC)[返信]

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Reply - I am very sorry, but I could not understand the purpose of your question until the end. To be honest, my English conversation skills are not that high. Beyond this, I may not be able to answer your question accurately.

If you'd like, please visit the Wikipedia:Help_for_Non-Japanese_Speakers and ask your questions. --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月28日 (木) 08:35 (UTC)[返信]

@Yushu-kasai Thanks for taking so much effort. In simple words in this article (タマンナー), If I change the names of movies from English to Japanese and link them to English articles, is that against the rules?
Also you renaming is correct as per this link apple tv. Hope you will consider renaming the article.--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月28日 (木) 08:58 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - You can rewrite the name of movies that Tamannaah appeared written in English in the article into Japanese, but it must be based on the notation in the Japanese source. If you cannot find Japanese sources, there is nothing wrong with writing with English. --有秋火祭Usertalk2023年9月28日 (木) 10:53 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Thanks 😊--Anoopspeaks会話2023年9月28日 (木) 11:01 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Requesting to move article to タマンナー・バティア--Anoopspeaks会話2023年10月18日 (水) 01:10 (UTC)[返信]
Requested - I am very sorry for the delay in responding to your request. The request are being held on Talk:タマンナー. If there are no objections, I will move the article after a week. --有秋 2023年10月18日 (水) 12:32 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai OK. Thanks.Anoopspeaks会話2023年10月18日 (水) 12:57 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Since no objections have been raised by anyone, could you please close the discussion and move the page?--Anoopspeaks会話2023年10月25日 (水) 21:51 (UTC)[返信]
 Reply - You’re right, and I will move it today (JST). --有秋 2023年10月25日 (水) 22:06 (UTC)[返信]
Thanks 😊--Anoopspeaks会話2023年10月25日 (水) 22:08 (UTC)[返信]
@Yushu-kasai Could you recommend any replacements in this (
この記事では、この人物を姓バティアではなくタマンナーで呼ぶ。
) context?--Anoopspeaks会話2023年10月26日 (木) 05:30 (UTC)[返信]

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────チェック Done - As you may have already noticed, I just moved the article.

Apart from that, I have one concern about your editing. You are making more than 30 consecutive edits per day on the article, but such edits will make the page history less visible (WP:CONSEC), so instead, could you make small edits with only once?

And as for the hat note, I think we can probably refer to Tamannaah Bhatia as "Tamannah" in the article without any notification. --有秋 2023年10月26日 (木) 05:42 (UTC)[返信]

@Yushu-kasai Sorry for the consecutive edits; I was just hyperlinking, and I thought it's not that important. I will stick to single edits from now on.--Anoopspeaks会話2023年10月26日 (木) 05:51 (UTC)[返信]
