アイリース・ファレル(アイルランド語: Eibhlis Farrell、1953年7月27日生まれ)は北アイルランドの作曲家。 aaaaああああ

経歴[編集]

北アイルランドダウン州のRostrevorで生を受ける。 幼いころから作曲をたしなみ、ベルファストのクイーンズ大学ベルファスト校に進学、音楽学士号を取得。その後ブリストル大学でレイモンド・ワーレン（英語版）に師事し作曲の修士号を得る。更にラトガース大学ではチャールズ・ウォリネンとロバート・モス（英語版）に師事し博士号を得た[1]

学業を修めた後、彼女は作曲家として働き始め、ダンドーク工科大学の「音楽とクリエイティブメディア」学科の学科長となった。 彼女の作品は世界各国で演奏され、また放送されてきた。 She received the Arts Council of Northern Ireland artist's residency in the Banff Centre, Canada, in 2007. She is a member of Aosdána, and has served as a member of the Toscaireacht.[2][3]
