内部弾性板は、血管の内膜の最も外側の部分を形成する弾性組織の層である。内膜と中膜を隔てている。
組織学
[編集]肉厚で目立つ筋性動脈や、わずかに目立たず、不完全であることが多い細動脈の切片では、光学顕微鏡で容易に視覚化できる[1]。
静脈や細静脈は非常に薄いである[1]。中膜の平滑筋細胞の層の間に非常に規則的な弾性層がある大動脈などの弾性動脈では、内部の弾性層は通常存在する他の弾性層とほぼ同じ厚さである。

muscular arteries, where it is thick and prominent, and arterioles, where it is slightly less prominent and often incomplete. It is very thin in veins and venules.[1] In elastic arteries such as the aorta, which have very regular elastic laminae between layers of smooth muscle cells in their tunica media, the internal elastic lamina is approximately the same thickness as the other elastic laminae that are normally present. 基底膜 内皮細胞と内部弾性ラミナの間には、少量の内皮下結合組織がある[2]。高齢者では、 内膜線維形成症 、 加齢 過程の一部であることが原因で、内弾性薄板の重複が見られることがある[3]。

[編集]- Damage in Git cell arteritis leads to microaneurysms. Demonstration of fragmentation in this layer by elastin-van Gieson stain aids in diagnosis of giant cell arteritis. It stains muscle tissue in yellow, connective tissue in red and elastic structures (like internal elastic lamina) in black color.[4]
- In chronic allograft nephropathy, disruption or reduplication of internal elastic lamina can be observed, which causes narrowing of the lumen and downstream ischemia.[5]
- In fungal rhinosinusitis, the organism has predilection for internal elastic lamina during phase of spread.[6]
