脈絡膜静脈は上脈絡膜静脈と側脳室の下脈絡膜静脈である。両静脈は脈絡叢の異なる部位に流れている。

The choroid veins are the superior choroid vein, and the inferior choroid vein of the lateral ventricle. Both veins drain different parts of the choroid plexus.

上脈絡膜静脈[編集]

上脈絡膜静脈は側脳室の脈絡叢の長さに沿って走っている。脈絡叢のほか、海馬、前庭、脳梁を排出する。上視床静脈と合流して内大脳静脈となる[1][2]。

The superior choroid vein runs along the length of the choroid plexus in the lateral ventricle. It drains the choroid plexus, and also the hippocampus, fornix, and corpus callosum. It unites with the superior thalamostriate vein to form the internal cerebral vein.^[1]^[2]

下脈絡膜静脈[編集]

下脈絡膜静脈は、下脈絡膜叢から基底静脈へ流出する[1]。

The inferior choroid vein drains the inferior choroid plexus into the basal vein.^[1]
