Supporting orphanages

[編集]

In 2011, Daisuke Sugiyama visited an orphanage in Cebu, Philippines, with his family. Arranged by Takako Yamada, the representative of WakuWork English, this orphanage was home to children who had been sold in exchange for birds or had become street children. He brought Japanese candy and delivered a powerful message to the children, saying, "I can do it," emphasizing the importance of confidence and having dreams.
