ニューヨーク・アジアン映画祭（NYAFF）は、ニューヨークで開催されるアジア映画文化を紹介する映画祭である。ニューヨーク・アジアン映画祭は通常、東アジアと東南アジア（特に日本、韓国、香港、中国、フィリピン、タイ）の現代の優秀作品とクラシック作品を特集しているほか、南アジア映画もインドとパキスタンの作品を通じて紹介されている。NYAFFは、多くの作品を国内初上映としており、観客は通常アメリカでは配給されないこれらの作品を見ることができる。毎年、出品作品の新進気鋭の俳優や監督をスペシャルゲストとして招聘している。映画祭のジャンルは、ホラー映画、ギャング／クライム、マーシャルアーツ、アクション、短編実写／アニメーション映画など。

フィルム・アット・リンカーン・センター（2019年までフィルム・ソサエティ・オブ・リンカーン・センターとして知られていた）は、2010年以来、映画祭の主要パートナーであり、主会場である。ニューヨーク・アジアン映画祭は、非営利団体ニューヨーク・アジアン・フィルム・ファウンデーション（NPO）によって運営されている。毎年この映画祭は、エグゼクティブディレクターのサミュエル・ジャミエ、プログラマーのクレア・マーティ、デヴィッド・ウィレンツ、キャレン・セバンズ、森晃一によって企画・運営されている。映画祭のセレクションの多くは全プログラマーのキュレーションに基づくほか、応募も受け付けている。

2007年まで、映画祭はアンソロジー・フィルム・アーカイブスとザ・イマジンアジアンを会場として、毎年6月末から7月初旬にかけて開催されていた。2007年からはIFCセンターとジャパン・ソサエティーに場所を移し、2010年からはフィルム・アット・リンカーン・センターが映画祭の主会場となり、SVAシアターが第二会場となった。

2008年からは、観客賞に加え、審査員賞も設けられた。2013年には、同映画祭の故ディレクター兼会計責任者を記念して、ダニエル・A・クラフト・アワード・オブ・エクセレンス・イン・アクション・シネマ（Daniel A. Craft Award for Excellence in Action Cinema）が追加された。映画祭は、映画製作者とその作品がアメリカやアジアの大手配給会社に取り上げられる大きなきっかけにもなっている。
