ピーター・ヒントヘンス（1962年12月3日  - 2016年10月4日）はベルギーのソフトウェア開発者、作家であり、フリー情報インフラストラクチャ財団（FFII）の過去の会長でした。この団体はソフトウェア特許に対抗しています。2007年には、「知的財産における最も影響力のある50人」の一人としてマネージング・インテレクチュアル・プロパティ誌にノミネートされました。

Biography[編集]

ヒントヘンスは1962年にコンゴで生まれ、東アフリカで育ちました。

ヒントヘンスは、フリーソフトウェアアプリケーションを制作する会社、iMatixのCEO兼主任ソフトウェアデザイナーを務めました。この会社は、高性能メッセージライブラリであるZeroMQ、AMQPメッセージングサービスのOpenAMQ、Libero, GSLコードジェネレーター, そしてXitamiウェブサーバーなどを生み出しました。
