Kiwametsuki Indoden Mahābārata Senki (極付印度伝 マハーバーラタ戦記), or Notable Indian Story -- War Record of Mahābhārata, is a kabuki play based on Mahābhārata, a Sanskrit epic of ancient India. The main character of the play is Karna, one of the princes in the original epic.

In 2014, Kikunosuke Onoe came up with an idea of writing a kabuki play inspired by Mahābhārata, as he watched a modern play based on it by Satoshi Miyagi, at Shizuoka Performing Arts Center in Shizuoka.

From 1th to 25th in October in 2017, the play was performed at Kabuki-za in Tokyo. This stage was part of an event to celebrate friendship between Japan and India , and was supported by Indian Embassy.

The costume used was tailored by Kayo Takahashi, who had already worked with Miyagi many times. She refered to the costume of kathakaḷi, a South Indian traditional dance play. She describes her work, saying 'It looks as if the Indian gods were on their half-way from India to Japan.'
