ポピュラー音楽における名誉な愛称Honorific nicknames in popular music)は、メディア表現の形として使用されるか、ファンによってアーティストの重要性を確認する際に用いられる愛称である。名誉な愛称はモーツアルトの「現代音楽の父」、バッハの「現代ピアノ音楽の父」のように19世紀前半という早い時期にヨーロッパクラシック音楽の中で使われた。
