Curve (i) doesn't start from 0, (ii) goes in huge increments (+0.25, sometimes +0.5), (iii) unequal distances on x-axis (e.g., distance from 0.25 to 0.5 is the same as for 0.5 and 1), (iv) moreover it makes false impression that it may easily reach 100% level. I agree that enwiki page does not contradict the current figure. However in more details: the enwiki page has a table that starts from MOI=1. The chart starts from MOI=0.25. At the same time, I claim that at MOI=0, y-value equals 1 - exp(MOI) = 1 - exp(0) = 0. And I can plot it. The second issue is distances on x-axis. We have now 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and so on separated with equal distances. I claim that distance between 0.25 and 0.5 is not equal to distance between 1 and 1.5. This is not fair. You denied my requests over File:Emblem of Kawahigashi, Fukushima (1972–2005).svg and File:Flag of Mifune, Kumamoto.svg before. Why can't I overwrite the mentioned files? For the first one, changing aspect ratio is not a minor change so if you want to upload a corrected version, upload a new file. For the second, you had said that you had disagreements with @SpinnerLaserzthe2nd: over it, and so an overwrite would be contentious. Why have you taken the protection off of a complete image (a drawing) to have it overwritten by one without the included original caption? Unfortunately, not, and never can be for the reasons given below.

I have to assume that your intention here is to overwrite the second B&W upload with a complete original print, and not the existing cropped one. If that's the case it is forgivable IMO, and I wouldn't disagree. Though technically we should have three files here. The original card, yours, and the current B&W cropped version.

The original upload was a completely different document and should be reinstated. It does, within it, give an indication of what the complete B&W version might actually be.

This file is a mess the B&W print does not match the accompanying description, and never should have been overwritten in the first place. The B&W print is not an autographed publicity photo of Yehudi Menuhin, and may not even be a film still, but actually a studio portrait. Broichmore (talk) 04:48, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
