ダグラス・エマーソン (Douglas Emerson、1974年10月4日 - )はアメリカ合衆国の元俳優であり、『ビバリーヒルズ高校白書』でスコット・スカンロン役、『ブロブ/宇宙からの不明物体』でエディ役を演じた。
来歴

[編集]ダグラスは1974年10月4日にカリフォルニア州のグレンデールにてダイアンとジョン・エマーソンの間に産まれた。彼は6人兄弟の一人で、カノガ・パークで生まれ育った[1]。ダグラスは4歳から子役として活動を始めた[2]。
キャリア
[編集]『ビバリーヒルズ高校白書』の第1シリーズでダグラスはブライアン・オースティン・グリーン演じるデビッド・シルバーの親友で、オタクっぽい新入生のスコット・スカンロンを演じた。スコットは第2シリーズでレギュラーから外れ、彼の誕生パーティーでの銃の暴発によって死亡した[3]。
スコットの死亡によってダグラスは番組から離れると、短期大学に入学し、ペパーダイン大学に転校した。ダグラスはアメリカ空軍に入隊するため1996年に大学を中退、1999年にはコソボ紛争では計画を練り、2002年には二等軍曹に任命されるほどの活躍を見せる[1]。2003年に空軍を離れた。
2019年、ダグラスは『ビバリーヒルズ高校白書』のルーク・ペリーを偲んで行われたピーチ・ピットのチャリティーイベントに参加、ブライアンやアイアン・ジーリングと再会した[4] 。
私生活
[編集]ダグラスはペパーダイン大学で出会ったエミリーと結婚し、2人の娘を授かった[1]。
