I am an editor that unfortunately cannot speak Japanese. I look for a bilingual collaborator who can help me create Japanese versions of articles on the English Wikipedia, mostly related to warships and naval history in general. Will appreciate any help offered. Regards. 2017年9月7日 (木) 08:48 (UTC)
Please stop posting machine translations[編集]

I saw the article that you posted on the Japanese Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the wording is a mess, and I could not understand your Japanese. When you created it, did you use machine translation? The quality of machine translations is usually very poor, and machine translations to Japanese are almost never useful. If you post articles with machine-translated Japanese to the Japanese Wikipedia, most of your translations will be deleted. They will still be deleted even if you post them many times. Please stop posting machine translations here.
When translating articles for the Japanese Wikipedia, you must also be careful to obey Wikipedia's content license, the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License (CC-BY-SA 3.0). To fulfil this license, you must include the name of the original article and the timestamp of the revision that you are translating from in the edit summary box (the small white box underneath the edit window). If you don't do this, your article will be deleted.
If you continue to post machine translations, you will be blocked from editing. If you want to post in Japanese to the Japanese Wikipedia, please find a native Japanese speaker, or someone with near-native Japanese ability.

- Do not worry. I always ask for help after I create a machine-translation. I am aware how poor and faulty the machine is, but even faulty as it is, if I do not do it, nobody else seems to will. If not, can you at least ask around and find someone to help me with this? I got...probably 3 relatively small articles, and a few paragraphs in need of translation.

Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. - Unamu Please stop adding templates for problems that do not exist. If there is a problem, try solve it, don't add a template and wait for someone to do it for you. Hi there. The maintenance templates that Unamu is trying to add are RFP (request for page protection) and AfD (articles for deletion) templates, which indicate that a request to protect the page and a request to delete the page was created, respectively. No matter ones agree or disagrees to these requests, he/she is not allowed to remove the templates until the discussions in the requests are concluded. Expressing disagreement by removing the templates repeatedly gives a very bad impression and may result in blocks. I sincerely hope that you could cool down, and if you see fit, provide comments in the requests so a consensus can be reached.--ネイ（会話） 2017年10月15日 (日) 11:17 (UTC)
- ネイ First of all let me thankyou for at least providing some reason and explanation, it is much appreciated. After two hours of work, I woke up with two big fat templates calling for the deletion of my work, no explanation, no reason, nothing provided. I think you can see why I could not "cool down" earlier. I get it, I am not a native speaker, but I am doing my best to convey information in the only format I can work with, at least for the moment: lists. But let me tell you, it will most certainly amount to nothing. If in 1 month nothing happens, if the article is not deleted, I will revert to removing the templates. For it is not fair, for both the subject matter and my work, to keep those temps that can very likely deter readers and that have no purpose. It's not the deletion itself that bothers me - I can integrate the whole list as a sub-section of an existing article - it's the sudden and potentially long-term spoiling of my work with those templates. Currently the article has a wrong name (the literal translation into English would be "Romanian Navy achievements (Second World War)") and I believe if it is moved to some translation of en:Romanian Navy during World War II it would be better. In any case, if the AfD is not closed after 1 month, please still do not remove the template (the administrator who closes the AfD will do that). So what currently can be done is either wait or put down a comment for the AfD. You people treated the Romanian Navy of WW2, almost like it never existed. I am trying to provide it with the coverage it deserves, because you people can't seem to be bothered to do that, oh no, it's much more important to translate an English article of a random German ship, just because it was German. - That is not an excuse for violating Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Moreover, what you mention is simply Romanian POV. We have a policy WP:NPOV which does not allow this kind of arguments. If you cannot read Japanese, then please read the English version of it - I am sorry to say that you are in violation of it. Besides you were also in violation of WP:3RR - when there are edit wars you should discuss in, for example, the talk pages, instead of reverting endlessly. - It's not my Romanian POV, I am not making this stuff up - there are dozens of sources in my articles, both Romanian and English, to verify what I say. You think I want all of this? I wouldn't even be here if you guys would do what is fair and right: treat the Romanian Navy accordingly. It's only about a dozen articles, not that big a deal to work, yet I find myself asking around like a street beggar for someone to translate even one of them. I am sorry for violating Wikipedia's policies, I was aware of them, but I figured this will get some attention to the topic, and hopefully persuade others to do things right.
