お手数をかけしました。正角図法は小中高校の教師でも勘違いしている人が多いと何十年も前から言われ続けていたものですが、それ以外の図法は測量というか、「等角航路が直線になる図法はメルカトル図法だけなのか？」みたいな数学的関心でピックアップしていたので、地理学という辺りは思い浮かばなかったです。すみません。--Kurubu（会話） 2017年1月11日 (水) 12:27 (UTC)[返信]

Higher resolution images available?[編集]

Hi Kurubu, user Bjornte (Bjørn Tennøe from Norway) here. Apologies for writing in English, but I don't write (or read) Japanese.

I have come across your most excellent maps in the Gallery section of Tissot's indicatrix. I was wondering if the maps are available in higher resolution? If yes, are they possible to use internally in a large organisation? I would love to hang them on the wall for inspiration. Of course, I will refrain from doing so if you find this undesirable.

In any case, thank you so much for your great contributions to Wikipedia!

10 years ago, I made a star chart application with many map projections for easy star observations, and added earth maps as addition. Those pictures was made by the application. The application can run on Windows 10, and can make pictures of any size. But it is very old (the layout collapses) and not suitable for map viewer (because it is originally a star chart application). Though I may make large pictures, I feel that 4K or 8K monitors spread in a few years. So I am thinking SVG format. I may take a little time. Sorry. --Kurubu（会話） 2018年12月6日 (木) 05:33 (UTC)[返信]
