Hi there! My name is Conny and I'm a student at the University of Vienna, doing Translation Studies. I've always been a fan of Wikipedia and am using it both as a source of information and source of terminology. I'm currently writing my thesis about "knowledge sharing and translation", using the example of Wikipedia. I registered to be able to get into contact with Wikipedians, especially those who do not only compose articles but also translate articles into other languages. My language combination is German-English-Japanese, and as I have the feeling that the Japanese Wikipedians are most diligent in translating, I'll be focusing on them. If anybody has some input regarding the topic or knows someone around here who translates a lot, I'd be very happy if you'd contact me (got a questionnaire for you...).

As I promised, the survey is an anonymous online questionnaire. You will find the link to the online questionnaire at the end of this page! Again, I can only emphasize again that I will not publish any details. I will work through your answers to find a common basis and make a summary of my findings. I will not mention any names.
