フランチェスカ・ディ・ジョヴァンニ （伊：Francesca Di Giovanni 1953年3月24日-）はイタリアの弁護士で1993年よりバチカン国務省に勤務し、2020年1月にローマ教皇庁国務省高官に女性で初めてついた。
経歴[編集]
ディ・ジョヴァンニはパレルモ出身で法律を専攻し公証人補として経験を積み、フォコラーレ運動国際事務局の管理部に職を得る。1993年9月15日にバチカン国務省に入省、多国間事案の部署に勤める。職務経歴は国際的な人権および難民と移民、情報交換、私法、女性の地位、著作権、観光にわたる[1][2]。
フランシスコ教皇により2020年1月15日、バチカン国務省外務局次官を受任、多国間事案を担当する[3]。ローマ教皇庁で通常は聖職者の職掌とされた管理職に、女性として一般信徒として初めて着任する[4][5][注釈 1]。バチカンの目指す政府間組織および国際的な協定について職務権限があり、2国間交渉は職掌を分け、Miroslav Wachowski 次官 (ポーランド出身聖職者) が就任[7][注釈 2]。
