シーダ・スコチポル（Theda Skocpol、1947年5月4日 - ）は、アメリカの社会学者・政治学者。ハーヴァード大学教授。専門は、歴史社会学・社会政策、現代アメリカ政治、市民参加など。ミシガン州デトロイト生まれ。
来歴
[編集]1969年にミシガン州立大学卒業後、ハーヴァード大学大学院でバリントン・ムーアに師事し、1976年に博士号を取得。ハーヴァード大学助教授・准教授、シカゴ大学教授、1986年から現職。アメリカ歴史社会科学会会長、アメリカ政治学会会長（2002年-2003年）などを歴任。2007年、ヨハン・スクデ政治学賞を受賞。
マクロ歴史社会学の視点から、社会革命における国際要因の重要性を指摘した博士論文States and Social Revolutions. で注目を浴びる[独自研究?]。1990年代に入ると、関心はアメリカの社会政策に向かう。
