チモポイエチン[5][6](Thymopoietin、Lamina-associated polypeptide 2 (LAP2), isoforms beta/gamma)はタンパク質の一つ。ヒトではTMPO 遺伝子にコードされる[7][8]。LAP2は、核内膜タンパク質である[9]。
胸腺でのCD90の誘導に関与するタンパク質である。TMPO遺伝子はすべての細胞で発現しており、選択的スプライシングにより75kDa(α)、51kDa(β)、39kDa(γ)のタンパク質をコードする。ヒトTMPO 遺伝子は染色体バンド12q22に位置し、8つのエクソンから構成される。TMPOαは細胞核に散在し、TMPOβとγは核膜に局在する。TMPOβはマウスタンパク質LAP2のヒトホモログである。LAP2は有糸分裂期にラミンB1のリン酸化を制御することによってラミンB1と染色体を結合させ、核構造を制御している[10]。

[編集]チモポイエチンは、自己統合障壁因子1[11](BAF1)、AKAP8L[12][13]、LMNB1[14][15]、LMNA[16][17]と相互作用する事が示されている。
